Main Equipment Auxiliary Systems: Necessary systems essential for the operation of hydropower units to ensure safe and reliable operation, including water, oil, and gas systems.

• The water system generally refers to the cooling water system, which ensures that the temperatures of each thrust bearing and water guide bearing of the hydropower unit do not exceed the specified safe operating range.
• The oil system ensures lubrication between the bearing shells.
• The gas system is generally used for braking devices to make the unit operate at the rated speed as much as possible and avoid long-term low-speed operation during shutdown.

DC Panel and UPS: Backup power supplies for the power station.

Excitation Device: Adjusts the excitation current to change the magnetic field, regulates the terminal voltage, and cooperates with the speed governor to change the output power of the generator.

Hydro-mechanical Protection and Line Protection:

• Hydro-mechanical protection mainly monitors the status of each auxiliary system and the working conditions of auxiliary equipment during the operation of the hydropower unit. When a fault occurs in a certain link, it takes corresponding actions according to the actual situation.
• Line protection monitors the status of the power grid and various grid parameters to determine whether the working status is normal. When a problem occurs, it promptly disconnects the output end of the turbine generator from the power grid.

Speed Governor: Regulates the water flow to adjust the speed of the unit under no-load conditions and the load of the unit under loaded conditions. Auxiliary equipment includes oil pressure devices and automatic air replenishment device (conventional oil pressure).

Monitoring and Control System: Overall coordination of the operation of each device, monitoring the operation status and parameters of each device, and sending control commands to each device as needed.
